Emilie Vincent

North America Administrative Recruiter

What hobbies and passions do you have?
I would say I am passionate about living a full and authentic life. No day is ever guaranteed, so I believe in making the most of it with whatever you enjoy.
I enjoy being active so that may involve going for a walk, a hike, a bike or a snowshoe. I also love being around my family. If I can combine the two, even better! My second love is travelling. Any time I can get on a plane a explore the world, I am a happy gal.

What is your bucket list travel destination, and what would you do there?
Somewhere in South America. I don’t know my exact locations yet but would lean towards Chile. What would take me there: The hiking and landscape, the food and the wine.

What is your favourite movie or book, and tell us why it is special to you?
My favorite movie is A League of Their Own. It is a movie I grew up with; I honestly don’t think I could even guess the number of times I have seen it.

What is your go-to meal when you have to cook dinner?
Tacos. I will never be disappointed with a taco no matter how simple or intricate the ingredients.

Describe a perfect day at work?
Interviewing candidates who I know are going to be a perfect fit!

Why did you choose Trimac?
I chose Trimac for two main reasons. I had a great first impression of the leadership team and I was very excited about the opportunity to recruit across North America.

What is one thing about you that people wouldn’t assume about you?
I am scared of wildlife…I hike and spend a lot of time in the mountains but bears and cougars are two of my biggest fears.

What are the attributes you look for in a Trimac Team Member?
I love working with a team that is approachable and open. I am inquisitive person by nature, so I love being able to bounce ideas off of people and interact in a collaborative way.

What does Trimac mean to you?
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think Trimac is safety. Coming to work every day at Trimac, I know that if I observe an unsafe action, or if I feel unsafe myself, I can speak up and will be thanked for doing so.
