Director of HR
What hobbies and passions do you have?
I’m an avid reader, enjoy flower-making, and I also have a deep interest in Real Estate.
What is your bucket list travel destination, and what would you do there?
Hawaii is the place for me. I’m fascinated by the views (only seen in pictures) and my other fave would be London. In both places, I’d be an absolute tourist.
What is your favourite movie or book, and tell us why it is special to you?
Toni Morrison’s “The Bluest Eye” – I love it because I read it during my freshman year of college and it was one of those books that I have never forgotten because it was a time as I was coming of age. Toni Morrison’s first novel!
What is your go-to meal when you have to cook dinner?
Describe a perfect day at work?
A perfect day can be relative in the Trucking industry, but I feel good when 80% of my to-dos are checked off. I also enjoy those days when I connect with someone on my team and inspire them to do something different or to offer advice that may help them.
Why did you choose Trimac?
In every interview, I walked away intrigued. My intrigue was initially set by the industry, but the more people that I met, I became quickly drawn to the culture here. Family and safety are used in almost every interaction and it’s not just words…it’s a way of life here.
What is one thing about you that people wouldn’t assume about you?
I love FOOTBALL!!!!
What are the attributes you look for in a Trimac Team Member?
Authenticity is the attribute that stands out. There are other attributes that fit our culture, but this one attribute allows you to have a voice and bring ingenuity to the organization.
What does Trimac mean to you?
There’s a sense of community at Trimac. We work and play as a team. For me, Trimac is large enough to provide me with a long career but small enough for me to connect with people throughout the company on a more personal level.
